At the 9 November 2015 executive committee meeting it was voted unanimously that all committee members follow a meeting etiquette and code of conduct pertaining to the Anna Bay Tavern Fishing Club.

Meeting Etiquette for Committee Members

1. We, the Executive Committee, will attend meetings fully briefed and prepared.
2. We will agree to our roles and responsibilities and actively participate in the Anna Bay Tavern Fishing Club Committee meetings.
3. We commit to meeting etiquette and the rules of engagement by:

1. • turning mobile phones off;
   • being on time;
   • not being under the influence of alcohol or drugs
   • advising another committee member e.g. secretariat that the member will not be attending;
   • respecting others and their opinions by allowing one person to speak at a time;
   • following an agreed agenda;
   • accepting group decisions and not returning to ‘closed agenda items’ unless new, relevant subject matter emerges

Code of Conduct for Committee Members

1. We, the Executive Committee, commit to respecting each other and the professional culture of the Anna Bay Tavern Fishing Club.
2. We will behave in a transparent manner by declaring all relevant interests.
3. We will manage or remove potential, perceived or actual conflicts of interest, to facilitate the resolution of competing interests via the open and structured process that forms the basis of the Anna Bay Tavern Fishing Club rules.
4. We will identify and escalate issues and disputes in a timely manner to ensure rapid resolution.
5. We will uphold the agreed escalation and dispute resolution processes.
6. We will act in good faith and with due care and diligence and comply with the ABTFC rules and constitution.
7. We will avoid collusive or anticompetitive behaviour contrary to the ABTFC rules and constitution.
8. We will promote to our members and the community a culture of fair and ethical behaviour and encourage the reporting of unethical behaviour.
